Cédric Grolet Patisserie

Piperhill were responsible for the complete reconfiguration of the once entrance foyer, reception and staff offices for The Berkeley Hotel, Knightsbridge, into an open plan reception and brand-new Patisserie under French chef Cedric Grolet.

Designed by French interior designer Rémi Tessier as a high-end pastry ‘lab’ with polished stainless steel, the walls feature carved flowers and lemons, representing Cédric Grolet’s first ever union of his fruit and flower creations, and scallop floor tiles throughout the kitchen.

This was one of the final phases of our extensive refurbishment of the entire North West corner of the Hotel; which began with the relocation and refurbishment to a number of BOH facilities on basement level such as the pastry kitchen, laundry room, staff restaurant and all connecting corridors.
