Works began on site in January of this year and all is in line with the construction programme.
So far, we have completed the below ground foundation solutions and drainage, erected the steel frame and are now making the building watertight with the completion of the roof and rain screen cladding to the elevations.
Works have started on reducing levels for the new exterior paving works. External walls for the courtyard and skate park have also started being built along with the exterior walls for workshop and equipment store.
Internally, all flooring has been installed and various walls and partitions all erected. In the next few weeks the timber cladding to the elevations and aluminium windows will begin to be installed. We will then see huge progress on mechanical and electrical works and internal walls will be completed. The building will be close to being watertight in the next four to six weeks. Internal staircases will also be fitted and floor screeds laid in preparation for floor finishes.
Piperhill are still on target to have the project completed by early 2019 as per the original construction programme.
