Q3 Overview – Residential Projects

Having built a reputation in some of London’s finest luxury hotels such as Claridges, The Bulgari and The Berkeley Hotel,  Piperhill continue to deliver first class finishes in all sectors of the construction industry. From restoring classic Grade II listed period townhouses to super prime basement projects, we have built a portfolio that includes London’s most exclusive addresses. Below we have an overview of the residential projects Piperhill have taken on in this third quarter.

We have now completed works at our project in Westbourne Park Road, Notting Hill, for our private client. We had constructed a new basement underneath the ground floor of the property which extended into a large section of the rear garden; we then undertook major refurbishment and reconfiguration works within this beautiful 4 storey Victorian property.

Internal works included new block stud walls, new floors and ceilings, installation of a new drainage system and electrical and mechanical services, complete with designer finishes. Our team ensured that the impact on the construction stage was delivered with the highest level of quality and customer focus.

Our next completed project is located in Eccleston Mews, one of London’s most sought after location within the Grosvenor Estate in Belgravia. Having started works in February 2017 on this initially 3 storey mews house, our project has now reached completion, on time and on budget.

The project consisted of the full excavation and construction of a full footprint basement and refurbishment of the entire property whilst incorporating a new lightwell within the extent of the site.

Major demolition works were also carried out to the remainder of the residential property, whilst retaining the front facade. The ground floor was completely rebuilt on a slightly larger footprint, with associated services and internal works also being carried out. The property was then completed with a bespoke designer fit-out.

Works continue to progress at our 4 storey terraced house in W2. We have successfully taken down ceilings and lifted the floors. Joists have been levelled and plasterboard has been wired with all steel now installed. Basement construction has now been completed and plumbing commenced. In our Pimlico project the roof steels have been inserted into the top floor of this 4 storey terraced property. All floors have been levelled and the basement re-tanked.

In addition to the above, Piperhill have commenced a number of new projects; one in the heart of Knightsbridge within the penthouse of a luxury apartment block. This project involves refurbishment works including the repair of water damaged areas, replacing ceilings, new bespoke joinery and the installation of a new air conditioning system.
